بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

It is not possible for Allah سبحانه و تعالى to undergo change.‎ This article will provide an explanation as to why this is the case.

If God were to change this means he would either gain or lose attributes.

God is Perfect; therefore, all His Attributes are perfect.

If He were to lose an attribute this means he would lose perfection.

If God were to acquire an attribute, this could mean two things:

1. God acquired an imperfection
2. God acquired a perfection

If God acquired an imperfection, then God now has a deficiency.

If God acquired a perfection, then God must have lacked this prior, hence was deficient before the acquisition of this new perfect attribute. Lacking perfections entails imperfection.
