al-Imam Ibrahim al-Bajuri [d. 1277 AH] said:

What must be known about the Angels (al-mala’ikah):

The specific angels that must be known in detail are: Jibril, Mika’il, Israfil, ‘Azra’il, Ridwan (the keeper of jannah), Malik (the keeper of jahannam), Raqib, and ‘Atid. Whoever denies any of this is considered a disbeliever (kafir). However, as for Munkar and Nakir (the angels of the grave), denying them does not lead to disbelief (kufr) because there is a difference of opinion regarding the essence (asl) of the questioning. It is obligatory (wajib) to have faith (iman) in the bearers of the Throne (al-‘arsh) and those who surround it, in a general sense, like all the other angels.
