بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
The Ru’yatullah, or Beatific Vision refers to when the believers will see Allah سبحانه و تعالى in paradise. The evidence for this event is when Jarir narrates that the Prophet ﷺ said,
“You people will see your Lord as you see this full moon, and you will have no trouble seeing him…”
[Sahih al-Bukhari 7434]
The ru’yah will be without a place, direction, means, etc. They will not have ‘idrak (cognizance), only ru’yah of Allah سبحانه و تعالى.
How is it possible to see Allah سبحانه و تعالى?
Anything that exists accepts vision, and since Allah سبحانه و تعالى exists, this means that He can be seen.
Allah سبحانه و تعالى also has the attribute to see. If He sees all, this includes His Essence, hence He can be seen.
Another proof is that Musa asked Allah سبحانه و تعالى to reveal Himself to him and if this weren’t within the realm of possibilities, he would not have asked for such a thing.
جَزَاكَ اللهُ خَيْرًا
