بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Imam al-Shafi’i stated: “I have heard that Duas are accept by Allah ﷻ on 5 nights:

1. The night of Jumu’ah
2. The night of Eid ul Fitr
3. The night of Eid ul Adha
4. The first night of Rajab
5. The middle (15th) night of Sha’ban”

[Kitab al-Umm 2/485]

Abu Tha’labah reported: The Prophet ﷺ said:

“On the middle night of Sha’ban, Allah looks down upon His creation and He forgives the believers, gives respite to the unbelievers and He abandons the people of malice to their malice until they give it up.”

[Shu’ab al-Iman lil-Bayhaqi 3551]

Muadh ibn Jabal reported: The Prophet ﷺ said: “Allah looks down at His creation on the middle night of Sha’ban and He forgives all of His creatures, except for an idolater or one filled with malice.”

[Sahih ibn Hibban 5665]
